The House that Randy Built…35 years ago!

This was the first house that I built from the basement up.  Working with another contractor, this house was completely constructed by the two of us — basement floor, wood framing, roof, siding, plumbing and electrical.  We did it all, except the basement walls which were contracted out.

I was fortunate to have the homeowners join me for our April 12 Customer Appreciation Brunch,  and they surprised me by bringing along this photo of their house.  How fun to share this with the many who were present that morning to celebrate my 35 year business landmark.  The homeowners are still happily residing in that house.  An interesting note: the only thing that I was ever called back to repair on this home was their roof… 25 years after the house was built!  Thanks Don and Nancy for being a part of our 35 Year celebration, and for sharing this photo of your home built when my own business was just getting off the ground.
